Note: August had actually needed to renounce "Emperor Franz Joseph I of Bohemia" whom he had been a previous subject.

I will eventually follow-up with the History Center and Archives
Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center in Ashland, Wisconsin to see if there might be more documents for August there.  He worked at the DuPont Powder Company and lived in Washburn, Wisconsin for a time.
