Arrived St. Louis Lambert Field Terminal Building. Now I know to get downtown from the airport quick and cheap.
Taking the Metro back and getting off at Union Station. This is the old train station, that was renovated commercially and now is a big modern shopping mall complex with many restaurants and fast food places. The Amtrak station is about 3-4 blocks way from here. Web Site

Walking a couple blocks east of Union Station past the Post Office.
Then a couple blocks south to the Amtrak Terminal Building. When I arrived here a few days ago at night, a cab driver hustled me quickly to her cab as soon I got off the train. I didn't have time to get my bearings or become familiar with this location. The purpose of this walk was to become familiar, so I could ride the Metro nearby here, my last day, to catch the Texas Eagle to Dallas, saving a cab fare.
