Looking west across the Strip Sunday, October 1, 2017 - Picture of the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster at New York-New York, which I only rode once, during my first Vegas trip. This picture was taken from the 2nd floor Showcase Food Court Mall window, next to the M&M's candy store outlet, after consuming a slice of Sbarro's pizza.
Sunday, October 1, 2017 - Monte Carlo and Park Theater - The location of the Cher concert that was attended on my las Vegas trip. The walkway between the Monte Carlo and NY-NY takes you to the Toshiba Plaza and entrance to the "T Mobile Arena". NHL expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights, made their Hometown debut October 10th with a 5-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes. Had a moving opening Tribute ceremony for the victims and 1st Responders.
Sunday, October 1, 2017 - Good view of the Aria and the leaning Veer Towers. Part of The Mandarin-Oriental left. Sunday, October 1, 2017 - Cosmopolitan - Vdara - From the elevated pedestrian walkway. They have curtailed the street level of pedestrian traffic on both sides of the Strip with these pedestrian walks.
Sunday, October 1, 2017 - City Center - Veer - Cosmopolitan
City Center - Picture Center is the "Mandarin-Oriental", "Aria", looking west from Strip - On the right is the unique leaning "Veer" towers, 480 foot, 37 Story residential luxury Condo Towers, which opened July 14, 2010. Opposing leans of 5 degrees.

Paris Northbound Bus Stop, now with limited street level pedestrian egress to the bus stop. Taking the Deuce from Circus-Circus to the Tropicana Laugh Factory for the 8:30 Show - 1 October Sunday evening. After the show, walked east on Tropicana Ave. to Koval, north to Ellis Island. Left the Tropicana probably 10 minutes before the shooting started next door at the Highway 91 Harvest Fest Concert. TV interviews with the Tropicana staff said they were inundated with shooting victims and people running for cover. They estimated over 1,000 persons took refuge at the Tropicana and that would explain the early confusion about reports of an active shooter there also.
From the Slots of Fun Sidewalk Circus-Circus. The "Big Bus Vegas Tour" operates aside of the Slots of Fun Casino.
Had lunch at Denny's across the street from Circus-Circus.
Also had stocked up munchies and soda with a Walgreens stop, also across the street from Circus-Circus.
From the Slots of Fun Sidewalk Circus-Circus - The flag is at Half-Staff in memory of the shooting victims. You can still the Bungee Jump Tower above the Circus-Circus pool that was suppose to be torn down many years ago. I remember seeing that video about 10-15 years ago of a guy who almost died from strangulation when on the first bounce up the slacked bungee cord wrapped around his neck.
