"Freedom Bell" at "Columbus Circle" (Union Station) at Massachusetts Ave. and 1st St. The Freedom Bell was cast specifically for the 1975-76 American Freedom Train, in commemoration of America's Bicentennial Celebration. It was cast by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, the same foundry that cast the original Liberty Bell. It is suppose to be twice as large as the original Liberty Bell, but it doesn't look that big to me, and is suppose to ring a half octave lower than the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. Looking at Union Station, with a DUCK parked in front of it. Christopher Columbus Statue at Union Station, Massachusetts Ave. and 1st. A view of the Capitol Building from Union Station.
